Exchange Control (Amendment) Law A LAW TO AMEND EXCHANGE CONTROL ACT. BE It enacted by the National State Assembly of the Republic of Sri Lanka as follows: - Short title. 1. This Law may be cited as the Exchange Control (Amendment) Law, No. 4 of 1977. Amendment of section 30B of Chapter 423. 2. The Exchange Control Act, as amended by Law No. 14 of 1972, Is hereby further amended in section 30B thereof, as follows: - (1) in subsection (2) of that section, by the omission of the words " of the administrative district in which such person is in custody ''; and (2) by the substitution, in subsections (5) and (6) of that section, for the words " the Secretary to the Ministry of Justice " wherever these words occur in those subsections, of the words " the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Foreign Affairs ''.
