Copyrights: Section 8(b) of the Intellectual Property Act of Sri Lanka provides that, notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6 and 7 [protected work and derivatives] no protection can be extended under Part: (b) to any official text of a legislative, administrative or legal nature, as well as any translation thereof: as such judgement of court whether reported or not) and legislations are not copy right protected works.
